A look inside a day with the GRG BUMBLEBEES!

This week, the preschool area theme is outer space🌎🪐☄️ and the bumblebees are loving it!

A typical day with the bumblebees includes a bit of free time with table toys, a morning dance, stretching, gymnastics circuits, relay races, movement based games, snack time, usually a craft or art activity, and a great time! Today, the kids chose to play the floor is lava at the end of the day before getting ready to go home. It’s all fun and games at Bumblebee!🐝

Meet Coach Sophie! Coach Sophie is the Xcel Manag

Meet Coach Sophie!

Coach Sophie is the Xcel Manager, and coaches Pre Team, but will help out wherever is needed. She has been at GRG since the very beginning (even before it was GRG!). She competed with us for a number of years before transitioning to coaching. Coach Sophie says that so many of her favorite memories from growing up, and still today- somehow relate to GRG. She says most of her favorite people in her life are from GRG, whether that be people she competed with or coaches with. She loves that GRG creates such a fun, loving, supportive atmosphere, and is truly changing the ways of gymnastics! Coach Sophie will be graduating from GVSU in the spring with plans of teaching early childhood special ed after! She is excited to grow with GRG, and continue to make a difference in so many kids’ lives. She says GRG just holds such a special place in her heart. We love you Coach Soph!🩵
