Tuition

Grand Rapids Gymnastics averages tuition based on a four-week month. There are several times during the course of a year where the student will receive 5 weeks of lessons during the month and we do not charge extra for those classes – although it will be considered a makeup for classes missed while we are closed for holidays. We’ve found that during the course of a year this averages out nicely and is a far less confusing payment arrangement for everyone concerned.

All classes are considered to have a reoccurring monthly tuition. They will be continuously enrolled in that class and incur reoccurring monthly tuition charges on their account until a “drop notice” to Grand Rapids Gymnastics has been submitted. Class fees are due on the first business day of each month.

Registration Fee

All participating families will be charged a registration fee of $40/family. This fee is good from time of payment for 12 months.

Payment

GRG requires you to have a credit card or debit card on file to make your tuition payment. No cash or checks are accepted. Each child when enrolled is considered to be in a program that has a reoccurring monthly tuition. From the date or registration forward the entire account balance shall be due on the first business day of each month.

Payments will be made via Credit Card/Debit Card using auto pay. These payments only apply to programs with reoccurring monthly tuition. If for whatever reason, payments cannot be processed and the account balance remains overdue, the enrollment in class will be cancelled. Customer will be held responsible for all costs incurred for collection of any delinquent payments, including but not limited to collection/ attorney fees/court costs. Monthly payment amounts may vary as classes are added or dropped and as other charges/payment are applied to the account.

Makeup Policy

Because of our strict student to teacher ratio, missed classes will not result in make-up classes, prorated tuition or refunds. We will provide a free pass to an open gym of your choice for missed classes. Please stop by front desk to receive pass.

Drop Procedure

Parents MUST notify the gym to drop a student from class.

Only notice via email, regular postal mail or hand delivered to our front desk will be acceptable. If you stop a class after the month begins you will not receive credits and/or refunds for the remaining classes in that current month. Please note: You are responsible for payment for your student’s classes WHETHER OR NOT YOUR STUDENT ATTENDS CLASS until the time you notify the staff VIA WRITTEN NOTICE. Please do not rely on your student to verbally let us know that he/she will no longer be attending classes. If a student stops coming to class without notification then that student’s account will be charged for the additional 30 days.

This charge will be for holding the student’s place in that class instead of offering that place to one of the many on a waiting list. If you have a prolonged illness or injury or other family emergency please let us know so we can do whatever we can to help you.

What to Wear

We suggest girls to wear leotards but allow both Boys or Girls to wear athletic clothing such as tucked in T-shirts and shorts (no zippers or pockets please). NO chewing gum or dangling jewelry. Hair should be pulled neatly and securely away from the face so that is stays up for the entire workout. Girls should not wear bows or other large hair ornaments that may cause discomfort during activity. Gymnasts will participate in bare feet.

Personal items should be left at home. Jewelry should not be worn during classes. PLEASE LEAVE JEWELRY ARTICLES AT HOME. This facility’s staff will not be responsible for ANY items that may be lost or stolen. Be sure your student’s personal items are marked with their name.

Arrival & Pickup

Be sure your student arrives 5 minutes before (no earlier please) his/her scheduled class time. Please pick up your student on time. Please inform us if you know you will be late picking up your student. Instruct your student to wait inside the building and you should escort them from the building to your car. During peak times the parking lot is crowded. Please take into consideration that our students may include young children. Please drive slowly and carefully. Do not take a chance on your student running to and from your car.

Do parents need to stay for class?

Any child under the age of 5 GRG requires parents to stay. Parents of children 5yrs and older who are in class can leave and come back for pickup. Children not presently enrolled in class should never be dropped off at GRG unattended.
